Adobo is known to be a simple yet tasty and delectable menu .My first try with adobo was not so perfect but they(son n hubby)had a fill and smile on their faces.Have to look for more delicious but easy way to cook it the next time.Anyway,here it is and the way I cooked it..
INGREDIENTS:
200 g pork cubed
2 pcs laurel leaves
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 broth cube
2 cups of water
3 cloves garlic,minced
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tsp olive oil
PROCEDURE:
Heat olive oil and saute garlic til color turns golden brown.Put in the pork cubes,oyster sauce,black pepper and water.Cover and let boil.When already boiling,skim off the foam.Put vinegar in vinegar.Boil for 30 minutes or more(til pork gets soft)Put laurel leaves after 30 minutes.Let boil again for 30 minute til it gets a saucelike texture.Let cool down a little and you can serve it with hot rice.
